At its session yesterday, the Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 10 tenders, competed for by 70 companies, the most prominent of which was a tender for the Ministry of Works for advisory services for a new building project for youth housing and an athletics track in Isa Sports City for 99 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Works presented a tender for pre-contract engineering consulting services for a new building project for youth housing, offices, and an athletics track in Isa Sports City, to which 7 companies submitted the lowest bid of 99.2 thousand dinars.
While the Electricity and Water Authority submitted a tender to supply control panels, which one company applied for, at a value of 47.3 thousand dinars.
Bapco Refining Company presented a tender to purchase pressure tanks for maintenance and inspection work for the year 2026. The 14 companies with the lowest bidder competed for it, with an estimated value of about 19 thousand dinars.
In addition, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority submitted a tender to maintain the outdoor green spaces on the beach of Bahrain Bay, and 12 companies submitted the lowest bid of 21.4 thousand dinars.
The Northern Region Municipality offered a bid to sell scrap cars located in Hafirah Yard in the Sakhir region, numbering 120 vehicles, and 8 companies bidding for them, the lowest of which was worth 11.6 thousand dinars.
The Shura Council submitted a tender to provide farm workers to monitor and maintain the external green areas and indoor plants, for a contract period of 2026 and 2027, for which 11 companies competed with the lowest bid of 1.1 thousand dinars.
The General Sports Authority also offered a tender to develop and implement the licensing system for the General Sports Authority, with the aim of automating operations and enhancing electronic services for sports clubs, federations, coaches, gyms and academies in Bahrain, and the lowest bid is 56.4 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Information submitted a tender to provide a technical support service for the Bahrain News Agency website and the digital radio and television platform, and 4 companies competed for it, the least of which cost 37.6 thousand dinars.
For its part, the General Authority for Social Insurance offered a tender to renew technical support for the Oracle servers present in the authority, and to provide spare parts in the event of their breakdown as quickly as possible, and one company offered it a value of 111.9 thousand dinars.
The Bahrain International Circuit submitted a tender to provide consulting services for site investigation and financial market assessment of the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center located in Sanabis, and two companies applied for it, with the lowest bid amounting to 73 thousand dinars.
