Engineer Ahmed El-Arabi, head of the Capital Parks City Authority, confirmed that legal measures have been taken against a number of contracting companies that are negligent in implementing the work for the units of the Presidential Initiative, Housing for All Egyptians, in the low- and middle-income axes, within the fifth phase of the 14th announcement, in order to ensure the speed of implementation and the quality of the work provided.
Al-Arabi explained, in a statement, that the agency will not tolerate any company that fails to perform its duties or causes delays in implementation rates, noting that field work teams follow up on the project sites on a daily basis to review completion rates and ensure compliance with the specified technical specifications and standards.
The head of the agency stressed that work continues around the clock, even during official holidays, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership and the Ministry of Housing, with the aim of accelerating the delivery of units to their beneficiaries with full finishing and facilities, and providing an integrated urban and service environment worthy of the Egyptian citizen.
It is worth noting that Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, held a meeting with the heads and officials of the development agencies of the cities of “New Cairo – Shorouk – Badr – Hadayek Al-Asimah”, to follow up on the work files, including: developing roads, main axes, residential projects, and the drinking water and sanitation system, within the scope of those cities, in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority.

At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny touched on the meeting held by Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly with the heads of city agencies, during which many points were emphasized, indicating that this places responsibility on the entire work team and the responsibility of the head of the agency in his city.
