The General Administration of Sunni Endowments concluded a specialized training course entitled “Concepts of Structural Structure and Maintenance,” over a period of four days from November 26 to 29, with the participation of the administration’s engineers from various specializations.
In this regard, Mr. Ahmed Khalil Khairy, Director of the General Administration of Sunni Endowments, confirmed that the course falls within a series of specialized training courses that the administration is organizing on an ongoing basis to improve the capabilities and competencies of the engineering staff in the field of project management for places of worship and endowment investment projects. Khairy added the interest and follow-up of the Sunni Endowments Council to develop a strategy that enables engineers to learn about the latest modern technologies to ensure the quality of work in the field of endowment project management.
The course aimed to raise the level of technical knowledge related to structural safety and preventive maintenance methods for endowment buildings, in line with the best modern engineering practices, and contribute to preserving endowments as one of the most important resources supporting charitable and community work. The course included an introduction to the foundations of structural inspection of facilities, methods of risk assessment, and mechanisms for treating structural defects, in addition to reviewing applied models of Sunni endowment projects.
At the conclusion of the training program, the Director General of the Sunni Endowments honored the participants and distributed certificates to them, praising their efforts and their keenness to develop their engineering expertise, and stressing that the administration would continue to support training programs that enhance the efficiency of the endowment’s work and the quality of its related projects.
