His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University of Dhaid, signed, Monday morning, at the university’s headquarters, an academic cooperation agreement between the University of Dhaid and the British University of Exeter, which was represented by Dr. Lisa Roberts, President of the University of Exeter. The agreement includes the launch of a dual degree for the Bachelor of Geological Sciences at the University of Dhaid, in an academic partnership with the University of Exeter, one of the most prestigious British universities specialized in the fields of earth, environmental and energy sciences. The program, which will last for 4 academic years, aims to qualify national cadres specialized in applied geological sciences through curricula and academic standards that match the best.
