The Youth and Sports Directorate in New Valley continues to implement sports convoys within the local activities plan of the Sports Development Department during the month of October 2025.
With the participation of 150 children
The Youth and Sports Directorate said in a statement that the sports caravan was carried out in the Mujahideen neighborhood, with the participation of about 150 boys and girls from the neighborhood, and included various activities in individual and group games with the aim of developing young people’s skills and spreading the culture of practicing sports.
The sports convoys aim to reach poor neighborhoods, villages, and deprived areas at the governorate level, thus contributing to expanding the base of sports practice and achieving the principle of justice in making activities available to all.
The events witnessed an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm among the participants, who expressed their happiness at participating and continuing to implement activities within the neighborhoods because they represent an entertainment outlet and an opportunity to discover sports talents.
