Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Musallam, confirmed that the Aoun Charitable Group’s projects are a source of pride for Bahrain, and embody the spirit of cooperation among people, expressing his thanks to Dr. Sheikh Anas Al-Emadi, for his great efforts in developing endowment projects that serve Bahraini society, praying to God to reward him with the best reward for this great charitable work.
This came during the inauguration last Tuesday of the second project of the Aoun Endowment in the Qalali area, in the presence of the Deputy Governor of Muharraq, Brigadier General Jassim Muhammad Al-Ghatam, officials from the Sunni Endowments Department, the Department’s Deputy Khaled Bu Anq, and prominent religious figures.
Regarding the second Aoun Endowment project, the head of the Aoun Charitable Group, Dr. Anas Al-Emadi said that the second Aoun Endowment project is a modern building that was purchased with the money of donors participating in the charitable group, the monthly income of which goes toward goodness, righteousness, and benevolence and what it leads to, pointing out that this is the second endowment after the opening of the first in the city of East Al-Hidd.
He pointed out that this second endowment was completed in a period not exceeding 7 months after the first project, “Aoun’s First Endowment,” with the participation of thousands of contributors to the Aoun Group of charitable and giving people, as this system reflects solidarity, solidarity, harmony, and brotherhood, as well as the continuous reward among Muslims.
In turn, the official of the Second Aoun Endowment, Ahmed Al-Mirbati, confirmed that the project did not take a long time from the opening of the First Aoun Endowment, and this was only with the grace of God Almighty, and the trust of the subscribers and donors of the Aoun Charitable Group, which greatly helped achieve one of the group’s strategic goals, which is achieving community solidarity among members of Bahraini society. He added: We are still at the beginning of our journey and we look forward to much in the future.
The head of religious and advocacy affairs for the Aoun Charitable Group, Sheikh Adnan Al-Emadi, explained the idea of the group, which began among friends in the Holy Qur’an memorization circles on the WhatsApp application among themselves. They would remind themselves of daily charity, even if it was a small amount, until Dr. decided. Anas Al-Emadi expanded this internal work by obtaining a license from the competent authorities to launch it into the community. He added: Then each participant began inviting others to join the group after the license was issued, and the number doubled to approximately 14 thousand participants, and we were keen in this charity to be something that all people could afford.
In February 2024, the Aoun Charitable Group launched the idea of a daily ongoing charity that the person in charge of the WhatsApp group reminds of in the morning and evening. Today, this group has reached approximately 14 thousand subscribers who were able to provide, from this small daily amount, two buildings worth approximately 2 million dinars, praise be to God.
