Thanks to the work of the security services in the Ministry of Interior, they were able to uncover the circumstances of the incident and its precise details. This type of quarrel is evidence of escalating family tensions due to inheritance issues.
The incident occurred on the 25th of this month in the Zagazig center in Sharkia Governorate, after a quarrel broke out between two parties due to disputes related to an inheritance related to a piece of agricultural land. With the increase of these types of disputes, they reflect a noticeable social challenge in individuals’ dealings with relatives’ issues.
The first party included three individuals, including a person with a facial bruise and two women, while the second party was composed of four people, all of whom reside in the same district of the center, and although they are one family, disputes over inheritance led to an unfortunate eruption of the situation.
During the quarrel, the two parties exchanged assaults using wooden sticks, which led to matters aggravating and resorting to the use of force. Security responded quickly to investigate the incident, as they were able to arrest all parties involved in the incident while they were in possession of the tools used in the assault.
When confronting the accused, they acknowledged the details of the incident as revealed in the investigations, which proved the spread of this phenomenon in a way that requires intervention by the authorities. The necessary legal measures have been taken to ensure that such quarrels do not recur in the future, and to protect society from domestic violence.
