Drinking water and sanitation company in Luxor begins, in the coming days, to connect sewage and link home connections to a number of areas affiliated with the center and city of Al -Toud, as part of the infrastructure development plan and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
The opening of the Naga Abu Muslim and the treatment of Al -Adisat soon
The regions benefiting from the project (Al -Tattah – Naga Al -Arab – Naga Muslim – Warranty – Mubarak Houses – The first urgent shelter housing with care), where the company called on citizens to quickly submit to deliver the service, in preparation for the opening of the two raising stations of Naga Abu Muslim and the Al -Adisat treatment plant that represent a great addition to the sanitation system in the governorate.
The project serves more than 250 thousand citizens and represents a qualitative shift for infrastructure and public health
The company emphasized that the start of the experimental operation of the two stations comes in implementation of the directives of Mr. Eng. Abdel Muttalib, the building of the Governor of Luxor, and within the framework of the state’s efforts to provide an integrated infrastructure that guarantees a decent life for citizens, noting that the project contributes to raising the efficiency of the environment and public health, reducing pollution rates and improving the quality of life inside the villages.
Citizen cooperation in the speed of delivery guarantees the operation of the stations at full capacity
Major General Engineer Ahmed Mohamed Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Luxor, explained that the cooperation of citizens in the speed of delivery of household connections is an essential step to ensure the operation of the new stations at full capacity as soon as they open, stressing that the company continues to implement a comprehensive development plan that includes all the governorate centers.
He added that the company is working to apply the highest technical standards in implementation, employment and maintenance, and it is periodically continuing the readiness of the stations to ensure the sustainability of the service after it enters the actual employment, stressing that what is achieved on the land of Luxor is the fruit of the directives of the political leadership and the state’s keenness to develop the Egyptian countryside within the “decent life” initiative.
A strategic project with international funding that serves 250 thousand citizens in Luxor
The Al -Adisat lifting station project is a part of the integrated project for sanitation funded by the African Development Bank, which aims to improve sewage services in 10 villages in its current stage, including 8 villages in the Esna Center (Keiman Al -Mutawa – Asfoun – Tafnis – Al -Gharira – Riot – Pacific – Al -Ma’bla – Thomas 3), and two villages in the Al -Toud Center (Al -Adisat Bahri – Al -Adisat before me), to benefit from it more than a quarter One million people from the people of the province.
The company emphasized that these projects represent a fundamental shift in infrastructure services in Luxor Governorate, in a way that reflects positively on the environment, public health, and the standard of living, and is enhancing the state’s efforts to achieve sustainable development and justice in the distribution of services between all villages and centers.
