Members of the Muslim Money House in the village of Kafr Ashma, affiliated with the Martyrs Center in Menoufia Governorate, announced that the donations allocated to save the life of teacher Ahmed Khater have reached 10,200,000 pounds so far, as part of the “Who Revived It” campaign launched by his friends and acquaintances to collect the cost of the lung transplantation he needs.

Those in charge of the campaign confirmed that this amount represents half the cost required to conduct the operation, which is estimated at about 20 million pounds, indicating that the road is still continuing and there is great hope that the amount will be completed thanks to the support and solidarity of the people and donors from inside and outside the governorate.

Last Friday, Menoufia witnessed an impressive humanitarian scene, after dozens of cars loaded with volunteers set out on expanded tours between the villages and centers of the governorate to collect donations. The campaign cars toured the villages of Shmyates, Kafr El-Gamala, Sahel Al-Jawaber, Al-Sawalmiya, and Darajil, and were stationed in front of mosques before and after Friday prayers to urge citizens to contribute to saving the life of the teacher who lost the ability to Normal breathing due to complete pulmonary fibrosis.

The campaign organizers explained that donations are collected through the bank account approved by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in addition to the announced Vodafone Cash and InstaPay numbers, stressing that “every pound may make a difference and save a person’s life,” and thanked everyone who contributed, supported and participated in this humanitarian work, which reflects the determination of the people of Menoufia to stand by the needy.
