The Committee for Preparing the Draft Response to the Royal Speech in the House of Representatives held its first meeting today to choose a Chairman and Vice-Chairman, where Representative Ahmed Sabah Al-Saloum was chosen as Chairman of the Committee, and His Excellency Representative Maryam Hassan Al-Sayegh was chosen as Vice-Chairman.
For his part, Representative Al-Salloum affirmed that the contents and visions presented by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, during the opening of the fourth regular annual session of the sixth legislative term of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, represent a map of the wise approach and the right path to building on the achieved civilizational achievements, consolidating the democratic approach whose foundations have laid the foundations for the process. Pointing out that the committee will begin, during its next meetings, to formulate a draft response and submit it, based on the contents and themes of the lofty speech addressed by the King of the country and in accordance with the legal period of the committee.
It is worth noting that the committee includes representatives: Ahmed Sabah Al-Salloum (Chairman), Maryam Hassan Al-Sayegh (Vice-Chairman), Hassan Eid Bu Khamas, Najeeb Hamad Al-Kuwari, Khaled Saleh Bouanaq, Hisham Abdulaziz Al-Awadi, Mamdouh Abbas Al-Saleh, Abdullah Hassan Al-Dhaen, and Abdul-Wahed Abdulaziz Qarata.
