The local unit of the village of Nidah in the Akhmim center carried out an immediate removal campaign for a number of cases of trespassing by illegal construction without a permit, within the framework of implementing the directives of Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, and the instructions of Engineer Ali Muhammad Bahns, head of the center, regarding decisive dealing with building violations in accordance with Law No. 119 of 2008.
Removal of building violations in Sohag
The campaign targeted several locations in Nida and its affiliated villages, where the wooden beams of the columns of the eighth floor in the upper floor in the Arab Al-Ataula area were dismantled, in addition to carrying out the immediate removal of two roofs of a building on the fifth floor in the upper floor in the Al-Zeit area on Mahrous Island.
Columns on the fifth and seventh upper floors were removed in the same area, before the campaign completed its work by removing building columns on the seventh upper floor as well. Wael Hassan Kamal El-Din, the head of the village, Ahmed Fathi, deputy head of the center, and Yousry Ahmed, the village secretary, participated in implementing the campaign.
The head of the center stressed the importance of continuing field follow-up and immediate monitoring of any building violations, with firm dealing and eliminating them in the bud before developing them, stressing that legal measures will be taken strictly against violators.
