The Nag Hammadi Criminal Court, in Qena Governorate, headed by Counselor Muhammad Al-Rifai, with the membership of Counselors Mustafa Mahmoud and Hisham Yahya, and a secretariat, Abu Al-Ma’arif Abdel Shafi, Muhammad Kahlawi, and Osama Al-Amir, referred the papers of a worker and his son to His Eminence the Mufti on charges of killing a young man due to disagreements between them in Naga Hammadi.

The events of the case go back to April 18, 2024, when the investigating authorities charged the defendants, Dandrawi A., 44 years old, and his son Maher D., with the murder of the victim, Youssef H. M., known as Alaa, after they shot him due to disagreements between them, in Nag Hammadi.
The case, No. 18801 of 2024, Misdemeanors, Nag Hammadi Center, and registered No. 5765 of 2024, Qena, was referred to the Criminal Court, which punished the accused, by referring their papers to the Mufti, and setting the first session of next November to pronounce the ruling.
