The Ashmoun Supply Administration in Menoufia Governorate launched a major monitoring campaign, in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, and the instructions of Osama Ezz El-Din, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, to tighten control over bakeries, markets, and the ration situation within villages and centers.
Supply campaigns in Menoufia
The campaign was under the supervision of Nazih Maher, Director of the Ashmoun Supply Department, and included Hassan Zaki, Head of the Supply Control Department, Shahat Jumaa from the Administrative Inspection, and Sameh Ahmed from Consumer Protection, as it targeted a number of bakeries and warehouses within the scope of the administration.
Seizing 2 tons of fortified flour in Menoufia
The campaign resulted in the seizure of 2 tons of subsidized local flour that had been collected illegally. A misdemeanor report was issued regarding the incident. The seized quantity was delivered to one of the approved bakeries, and it is being presented to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary legal measures.
A misdemeanor report was also issued against a tourist bakery for operating it without a license, in addition to visiting gas depots to monitor the progress of work and ensure the availability of cylinders and the absence of any bottlenecks in distribution.
The Menoufia Supply Directorate confirmed the continuation of its intensive campaigns in all centers and villages to control markets, combat trading violations, and prevent tampering with subsidized goods.
