Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, in cooperation with Al Kindi Hospital, organized an awareness event on the occasion of World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as part of the club’s keenness to participate in various occasions and events and organize health and awareness programmes.
The club’s Executive Vice President for Regulatory Affairs, Sheikh Hassan bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, thanked the management of Al Kindi Hospital, and the general surgery, breast surgery and oncology consultant, Dr. Amal Al-Rayes, for their fruitful cooperation in organizing this valuable awareness lecture.
Amal Al-Rayes gave a lecture in the presence of the club’s female employees, in which she stressed the importance of awareness campaigns about this disease, which is considered one of the most common diseases among women, stressing the necessity of following health guidelines that contribute to improving the quality of women’s lives and enhancing their safety, and the importance of early detection and conducting periodic examinations for prevention and early detection of the disease.
