Cairo 24 learned from its sources that screenwriter Mohamed El-Hanawy is the author of the Mohamed Saad series within the upcoming Ramadan race of 2026.

This comes after the artist Mohamed Saad was absent from participating in the last Ramadan season, as his last work was the series X-Lance, which was shown in Ramadan 2023 and was written by Black Horse Workshop and directed by Ibram Nashat.
The events revolved around Hajj Hanawi, or as he is known as X-Lance, who accidentally finds himself involved with a large gang smuggling antiquities after he hit someone with his car.
In cinema, his latest work was the film Al-Dashash, written by Joseph Fawzi and directed by the late Sameh Abdel Aziz. Zeina, Bassem Samra, Khaled Al-Sawy, Nisreen Tafesh, Nisreen Amin and others participated in the work.
The events revolved around Al-Dashash, who owns a nightclub, and gets into many feuds all the time, but when he is exposed to a crisis that turns his life upside down, he seeks to transform into a better person.
Mohamed Saad achieved remarkable success with the film Al-Dashash, which represented a strong return for a great artist who had been absent from the cinema competition for several years, as this work succeeded in bringing him back to the audience again.
