The second round of the Seventh Bahrain Amateur Championship, which was held on Friday, October 10, 2025 AD, on the courses of the Royal Golf Club and is supervised by the Bahrain Golf Federation, witnessed great competition among the participants to achieve advanced positions that qualify them to compete in the final round, as the participants presented technical glimpses and advanced levels in the game of golf, which increased the pace of performance to maintain the points gained during the previous two rounds, to qualify. For the decisive round, during which the identity of the championship title and the recipient of the qualification card for the upcoming Bahrain International Championship (European Tour) will be determined.

Speaking about the events of the second day, Mr. Abdullah Al-Habbal, Chairman of the Championship’s Media Committee, said: “The second round of the championship’s competitions was characterized by positive participation by players from various golf clubs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, federations and clubs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab countries, which contributed to the rise in technical levels and the ceiling of competition among them, stressing that the general technical level is constantly developing in the championship’s competitions during the previous editions, as it achieved many of the main goals that It was developed by the Bahrain Golf Federation, the most important of which is to create competition between the region’s amateur youth on grass courts with the aim of raising the general tactical and skill level, as well as meeting them in open tournaments for individual competitions that depend on the player’s own focus, which contributes to raising his global ranking level. The Qatari player Sokolov continued his lead at the end of the second round competitions after collecting 135 points, achieving 9 strokes under par. Second place went to the Swedish player Larsson, collecting 136 points, while the English player Oscar came in third place, collecting 137 points. The Egyptian player Issa Abu Al-Ela came in fourth place, collecting 137 points. In fifth place, the Malaysian player Al Zubair Verdis achieved 138 points, while the Emirati player came in sixth place. Silverage scored 139 points.

The final round will begin on Saturday, October 11, 2025, where prizes will be distributed to the winners after the end of the third round, and all fans will be invited to watch the tournament competitions.
