The Directorate of Supply in Qalyubia has intensified its oversight efforts on municipal bakeries in various cities and centers of the governorate, to ensure compliance with standard specifications and improve the quality of the loaf of fortified bread, within the framework of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, and in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Qalyubia, and the follow-up of Engineer Amal Abdel. Al-Qawi, Deputy Director of the Directorate, headed by the directors of external ration departments, and in conjunction with the Supply Control Department and the Governance Department of the Directorate,
Today, Tuesday, several expanded campaigns were implemented, including:
Kafr Shukr, Banha City, Qalyoub City, East Shubra Al-Kheima District, Shibin Al-Qanater, and West Shubra Al-Kheima District.
The campaigns resulted in issuing 42 violations, which varied between:
Production of underweight bread.
The dough is not clean.
Production of bread that does not meet specifications.
No bakery playlist.
Not giving Bonus exchange to citizens.
There is no record of visits by inspectors.
The scale used is not valid.
Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar confirmed that oversight campaigns continue daily on all bakeries in the governorate, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to control the ration system, ensure that support reaches those who deserve it, and provide good bread worthy of the Egyptian citizen.
