During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events in various educational, executive and advocacy sectors, as Major General Staff Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, participated in the Port Said University Council meeting headed by Dr. Sherif Saleh, to follow up on developments in work within the university, and review plans to develop the educational process and enhance the university environment for students and researchers, stressing his pride in the distinguished level of the university, its educational leaders, and its support for the development process.

The governor also witnessed the alignment of equipment and vehicles participating in the joint practical training to confront crises and disasters (Saqr 155), in the presence of Dr. Amr Othman, Deputy Governor and the governorate’s executive leaders, as part of a plan to raise the efficiency of executive agencies and achieve full readiness to confront any emergency.
Within the framework of advocacy activity, the Port Said Endowments Directorate continued the activities of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative, where female preachers organized a number of preaching lessons for women in the mosques of the Islamic Complex and Sheikh Zayed, covering the topics of “The Virtue of Asking Forgiveness” and “Acts of Good Will Protect Against Evil,” under the patronage of Dr. Osama Al-Sayed Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the supervision of Dr. Mukhtar Issa Diab, Director of the Directorate.
The General Authority of Meteorology also announced the formation of water mist on the morning of Wednesday, October 29, sometimes dense on agricultural and highway roads near bodies of water, which requires caution while driving.
On the other hand, the Port Said Al-Azhar region achieved a new achievement, with the student Malak Shawqi Abdel-Al at the Al-Zohour Model Institute for Girls obtaining ninth place in the competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an, amid great praise from the leaders of the educational region.
