The participation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, comes as a continuation of Bahraini’s ongoing role in supporting efforts aimed at ending conflicts and enhancing regional stability.
What is striking about the Bahraini position, as reflected in the speeches and initiatives of His Majesty the King, is his insistence on putting the human being at the heart of the equation. Peace, in this vision, is not just a diplomatic tool, but rather a moral and humanitarian value, whose goal is to protect human dignity and preserve the right of peoples to live in safety.
