The Faculty of Technology and Education at Helwan University, under the patronage of Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, University President, organized the first employment forum at the college’s headquarters, with the participation of more than 12 companies and institutions from the private sector, with the aim of providing more than 1,500 real job opportunities for university students and graduates.

The forum witnessed a high-level presence, presented by Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Governor of Cairo, Dr. Hossam Rifai – Vice President of Helwan University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Wael Ibrahim Ahmed – Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Al-Toukhi – Vice President of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hossam El-Din Fawzi – Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Northern Region, Dr. Rania Hassan – Head of the Youth Employment Agency for Graduates in Cairo Governorate, Mrs. Engineer Sabira Sweilem – Head of the Princess District
The organization of this event comes within the framework of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, regarding supporting and empowering youth and providing them with real job opportunities, in line with Egypt’s 2030 Vision for Sustainable Development.
Dr. El-Sayed Qandil stressed that Helwan University pays great attention to qualifying its students and graduates for the labor market, by supporting training activities and organizing employment forums that open new horizons for young people and contribute to community service.
Dr. Hossam Rifai pointed out that the forum is an important step in linking the university to the labor market, appreciating the efforts of the college administration in organizing and cooperating with participating companies. Dr. Hossam El-Din Fawzi stressed that Cairo Governorate works in an integrated manner with Helwan University to implement community initiatives, praising the distinguished organization of the forum, which is considered a successful model of cooperation between the governorate and the university.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber also stressed the importance of empowering young people and qualifying them for the labor market, stressing that organizing such events within universities reflects the state’s interest in youth as they are the basic pillar of development.
Dr. Wael Ibrahim Ahmed, Dean of the College, praised the efforts of Dr. Olfat Salem – Director of the College’s Training Department, in supervising the implementation of the forum’s activities and coordinating with companies to ensure the achievement of the event’s objectives. He also pointed out that the forum embodies the college’s societal role in supporting and employing young graduates, and activating the partnership between the university, state institutions, and the private sector.
The forum was organized under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mustafa Al-Toukhi – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The forum was organized in cooperation with the Bingo Mark Company, represented by Mr. Ayman Al-Rifai and Mr. Muhammad Al-Rifai, where the company assumed the tasks of organization, field supervision, and coordination with the participating parties.
The college students’ union, headed by student Ahmed Adel – president of the union, and student Mahmoud Abdel Salam – vice president of the union, along with the “Twenty Business” team, also contributed to organizing and receiving attendees, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and positive participation between students and the college administration.
The forum witnessed a wide turnout from students and graduates, in a distinguished atmosphere and professional organization, in a successful model of integration between Cairo Governorate and Helwan University to serve the youth of Egypt.
