Singer Omar Kamal revealed the truth about what was circulated in the recent period, which was that he stole the album of the artist Mohamed Fouad, stressing that what happened had nothing to do with the theft, but rather came as a result of a dispute between Fouad and the producer of the work.
Omar Kamal said in television statements: The album was Fouad’s, and I did not know at first. He was the one who rejected it and had a problem with the producer and sacrificed all these names.
He continued: I learned that he was approached by Wael Jassar and Haitham Shaker, and one of them asked for $50,000 in the song, and the other asked for $30,000.

Cairo 24 previously learned from its sources that producer Mohamed Mujahid took an urgent decision to withdraw the songs prepared by Mohamed Fouad, and search for an alternative to present them with his voice, so his choice fell on the artist Omar Kamal, which makes the process of transferring the album smoother, without disturbing the artistic concept that was previously set.
The album underwent some technical modifications to suit Omar Kamal’s singing style, and includes a group of the most important and prominent names in the field of the music industry in Egypt and the Arab world, where Omar cooperates with an elite group of poets, composers, and arrangers, including Aziz Al-Shafi’i, Tamer Hussein, Muhammad Yahya, Wissam Abdel Moneim, Rami Gamal, Touma, Nader Hamdi, and Amin Nabil, in addition to a number of other creative people who participate in drafting the album. This is the expected work.
