Heba Kotb’s husband was a guest on the “One of the People” program, presented by journalist Amr El-Laithi and broadcast on Al-Hayat channel.
Heba Kotb’s husband: My daughter did not want to create a trend, and the idea of the Fried Chicken cake was hers.
Dr. Hisham Adel said: My daughter’s wedding cost a lot, and it was not intended for the wedding to be a trend, and the parents were the ones who spent on the wedding, and my daughter is a blogger and does more than one thing at the same time. When people knew that she had begun to prepare for the wedding of the people who worked with her, she was the one who asked for many complimentary things to be done for her.
He added: The videos spread on social media because this is the price of fame, and all those who were happy were friends and relatives.
He continued, saying: The wedding cake I told my daughter that we cannot get a regular cake because at the end of the wedding cake it is thrown away and no one can benefit from it, but I was surprised that there was a Fried Chicken cake and after 15 minutes it was finished. This was a new idea and I loved it, and what was most important to us was that the celebration be in an open place and that the people who come should be happy.
On the other hand, his daughter, Heba Kotb, responded to the criticism she was subjected to through social media, saying in an exclusive statement to Cairo 24: Everyone is happy in a way, even other people’s joys. I cannot say their happiness is right or wrong, because I believe that as long as someone is happy, their happiness is right, and as long as we don’t do anything wrong and get married, everything is fine.
