Muharraq Charitable Society organizes the “Khosh Hayat” campaign for early detection and distribution of seedlings

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance health awareness and spread environmental culture in society, the Muharraq Charitable Society organized the “Khosh Hayat” event for early detection and distribution of seedlings on the occasion of Tree Week, on Friday in Dohat Arad in Muharraq Governorate.

This campaign came in cooperation with the primary health care centers of the Ministry of Health, the Muharraq Municipality, and the Muharraq Governorate Municipal Council, in an initiative aimed at spreading awareness of the importance of early screening for chronic diseases, and encouraging community members to adopt healthy and sustainable lifestyles.

In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in supporting national efforts aimed at increasing the green area and preserving the environment, agricultural seedlings were distributed during the campaign to the participants, to enhance the culture of afforestation and environmental preservation.

The event also included a free medical examination corner under the supervision of specialized health personnel from primary health care centers, where early examination and health awareness services were provided to attendees.

The campaign witnessed a wide turnout from the people, in addition to the participation of the association’s members and employees and a number of families and orphans sponsored by the association, in an atmosphere full of cooperation and the spirit of volunteer work.

At the conclusion of the event, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Muharraq Charitable Society expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the primary health care centers at the Ministry of Health, the Muharraq Municipality, and the Muharraq Municipal Council for their fruitful cooperation and continued support for the Society’s initiatives, stressing that such partnerships contribute to strengthening community work and achieving sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
