Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, confirmed that today’s unanimous approval by the Shura Council of the amendments to the Press, Printing and Publishing Law, with the start of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term, represents an important step that confirms the constitutional value of freedom of opinion and expression in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and confirms the continuation of the process of legislative development to enhance the high status of the national media in its various means. He stressed that the noble speech that His Majesty the Great King, may God support him, during the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term clearly embodied the royal vision in strengthening The process of building, modernizing and consolidating the state of institutions and law, and consolidating the principles of responsible freedom of expression based on national values, principles and constants.
