Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee, praised the sublime speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, at the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term, and the sound directives it included and a comprehensive vision for sustaining the process of development, civilizational and diplomatic achievements, and strengthening the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a destination for goodness and tolerance. Peace, and a center for creativity and leadership.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the royal speech set the priorities for national action within the framework of institutional integration and constructive cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, under the direct supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, based on the Constitution and the principles of the National Action Charter, for the advancement and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He added that the royal speech placed the Bahraini person at the heart of comprehensive development, as he is the true wealth of the nation and its bright face, noting the appreciation of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, for the initiative of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to provide more job opportunities for citizens within the framework of cooperation between the governmental and private sectors, and to strengthen the legislative and oversight role of the legislative authority in its two Shura Councils. Representatives, and His Majesty’s keenness to enhance freedom of the press and media within the framework of a modern legislative system that guarantees public rights and freedoms and supports the rule of law, justice and competitiveness.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted the praise contained in the royal speech for the contributions of young national cadres who receive the attention and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and the qualitative achievements achieved, most notably the successful launch of the Bahraini satellite, and the directives of His Highness, may God protect and preserve him, to consolidate paths of scientific and technological development and enhance Economic diversification, adopting artificial intelligence and renewable energy technologies, preserving the environment and wildlife, and preserving marine resources.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his pride in the national diplomatic principles renewed in the Royal Highness Speech, which reflect the authentic Bahraini approach based on consolidating the foundations of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region, and supporting the Palestinian cause in accordance with the two-state solution, noting His Majesty’s appreciation for the efforts of His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the friendly United States of America, in reaching an agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, and His Majesty’s affirmation of the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain. With its Arab and Islamic affiliation, and its keenness to continue its active role in supporting international peace and security through its non-permanent membership in the Security Council for the period 2026-2027.
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, in light of the high royal vision, and the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is continuing with its comprehensive and sustainable development and civilizational achievements, thanks to the wisdom of its leadership and the valiant efforts of its defense and security forces in preserving the nation’s gains and protecting its security and stability, and the awareness of its people and their adherence to noble human values, and authentic customs and traditions.
