The work of the Fourteenth Arab Conference for Heads of Security Training and Qualification Institutions kicked off this Wednesday morning, in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the participation of representatives of the Arab Interior Ministries, and in the presence of Major General Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al-Mal, Advisor to the Qatari Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Conference.
In his opening speech, the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Koman said that the conference is being held in light of great interest in enhancing the capabilities of the Arab security services, and that the conference’s agenda includes discussing pivotal issues, most notably developing the technical skills of security personnel to confront digital crimes and extract electronic evidence, in addition to enhancing training in the fields of crisis and emergency management, which are lessons that the security services have learned from the experience of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He concluded his speech by expressing his confidence that the discussions and outcomes will contribute to strengthening Arab cooperation and developing the capabilities of the security services.
