The Kuwait Meteorological Department issued its weather forecasts for Kuwait today, Thursday, October 9, 2025, as forecasts indicate continued hot weather during the daytime hours with relative humidity in the coastal areas, while the weather tends to be relatively moderate during the night hours.

Kuwait weather today

Kuwait’s weather today during the day is expected to be relatively hot and humid in the coastal areas, as light to moderate northwesterly to southeasterly winds will blow, ranging in speed from 8 to 30 kilometers per hour.

Maximum temperatures are significantly higher in the interior regions, where they are expected to reach 41 degrees Celsius at the Manaqish station, while they will be more moderate on the islands and coastal areas that benefit from the temperature-moderating effect of the sea.

As for the night hours, Kuwait’s weather today indicates that the weather will be hot to moderate and relatively humid in the coastal areas, with variable winds to northwesterly, light to moderate speed, ranging from 10 to 35 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures will drop significantly in the interior areas compared to the coastal areas, where the lowest reading is recorded in the Warba and Bubiyan region at 17 degrees Celsius.

Regarding sea conditions, Kuwait’s weather today is expected to be light to moderate waves during the daytime hours, with wave heights ranging between 1 to 3 feet, while rising slightly during the night hours to range between 1 to 4 feet. Data issued by marine stations indicate that the waves will be southeasterly in direction, with a height of 3 feet in most coastal locations, making marine conditions suitable for marine activities and navigation.

According to Shuwaikh Port data, the first tide is expected to occur at 12:37 p.m., while the second tide will occur at 00:26 after midnight tomorrow, Friday. The first low tide will occur at 07:31 am, and the second low tide will occur at 19:23 pm. This information is important for fishermen and seagoers to organize their marine activities according to tidal times.

Through monitoring Kuwait’s weather today, it is noted that temperatures vary between different regions of the country, with the interior and desert regions recording significantly higher temperatures compared to the coastal regions and islands. The Meteorological Department advises citizens and residents to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours, especially in indoor areas that witness high temperatures, and to drink plenty of fluids and stay in air-conditioned places as much as possible.
