Yousef bin Abdul Hussein Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labor, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to consolidate its approach based on investing in the Bahraini human element as it is the pillar and main axis of development, by promoting human development and expanding areas of empowerment for citizens, ensuring their effective integration into the labor market and enabling them to contribute to building a more competitive and sustainable national economy, in order to achieve the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Excellency His Excellency His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
Youssef bin Abdul Hussein Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labor, praised the contents of the sublime speech of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, during the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils, in which His Majesty, may God support him, praised the important initiative announced by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and which is directed to those seeking job opportunities, and what it includes. Necessary facilities that open up more career options for citizens to enable them to contribute effectively to building the future of the nation, stressing that this high royal praise embodies the great keenness to enhance job opportunities for citizens, pointing out that the contents of the high royal Nebras speech outline the features of the next stage towards broader horizons of progress based on national constants.
Khalaf explained that the Ministry of Labor continues to implement the directive of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, by offering 3 job opportunities to every job seeker registered in the Ministry, noting that the Ministry has begun, since the issuance of His Highness’s directives, to take the necessary executive measures to achieve the desired goals.
The Minister of Legal Affairs stated that, to date, 7,888 interviews have been conducted with job seekers registered with the Ministry, in preparation for facilitating their access to job opportunities appropriate to their qualifications and aspirations, stressing that the Ministry continues to extend working hours until seven in the evening to ensure the speedy completion of the initiative and facilitate procedures for job seekers.
He pointed out that the work teams are continuing their efforts in the spirit of Team Bahrain to embody the leadership’s directives and achieve citizens’ aspirations for job stability and active participation in the labor market.
The Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labor also praised the constructive coordination with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and private sector institutions, explaining that this cooperation represents an essential pillar of support for the Ministry’s efforts in providing the Ministry’s electronic employment fair with job opportunities that meet the needs of the market and support the employment of national cadres, thus contributing to enhancing economic growth and sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
