
Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed, Chairman of the Electricity and Water Authority, confirmed that the Bahraini engineer is an essential partner in achieving the desired sustainable development in all sectors of the Kingdom of Bahrain and actively contributing to the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
He congratulated all Bahraini engineers on the occasion of Bahraini Engineer Day, and pointed out that the Authority includes more than 453 male and female engineers who constitute a fundamental pillar in achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives and providing high-quality services to citizens and residents of the Kingdom. They also represent a pivotal pillar in developing the Authority’s future projects and ensuring the continuity of distinguished performance in all electricity and water services.
He pointed out that the Authority continues to invest in developing the skills and capabilities of its engineers and providing them with diverse experiences, by enrolling them in courses, training programmes, workshops and lectures, allowing them to enhance their knowledge and learn about the latest practices and developments in the engineering and urban sectors.
He stressed that the national engineering cadres have proven their high efficiency in implementing vital projects in accordance with international best practices, which enhances the Authority’s contribution to advancing economic and urban development in the Kingdom.
