The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sparked widespread controversy after it published a picture of the well -known British politician George Galawi as a picture of Zahir Al -Barawi, Chairman of the ICRC to break the siege on Gaza, accusing him of being a member of Hamas and responsible for Resion Going towards the sector.

In a quick response, Galawi denied these allegations, stressing that Israel used his images wrongly and misleading, he said: The images that Israel published globally are actually my photos, and I would like to make it clear that I have no connection with Hamas or the caravan of the ships.
George Galawi added: I have not met Borawi’s flowers or talking to him for more than a decade.
This comes at a time when the Alma and Siros fleet participating in the resilience fleet witness a construction campaign by the Israeli authorities, after they started in an attempt to break the siege imposed on Gaza for more than 17 years.
Who is George Galawi?
George Galawi is a prominent British politician and a former member of the British House of Commons, known for his opposition to Western wars on Iraq and Afghanistan, and with his explicit support for the Palestinian cause.
He founded a party of respect in Britain, participated in a number of solidarity initiatives with the Palestinians, as well as its fiery speeches against American and Israeli policies, which made him a controversial figure on the British and international political scene.
