Dr. Nazir Ayyad, the Mufti of the Republic, answered a question that was reported to him by one of the citizens: What is the ruling on shaking hands with each other, and saying the word (forbidden) after the prayer?
The Mufti said on the official website of the Ifta House: Share the people with each other and say the word (forbidden) after the prayer -a prize for Sharia; Because of the meanings of familiarity and affection among Muslims.
Ruling on shaking hands after the prayer
He continued: Shaking hands is required at all convergence, including the convergence of the worshipers after the prayer, it is Sunnah in general, and a reason for the forgiveness of sins, and the expressions of scholars indicating the desirability of shaking hands in general, and that they are required and permissible after the prayer, and some of them desirable.
He emphasized: The scholar Al -Tahtawi Al -Hanafi said in “His entourage on the farmer of the farmer” (p. 530, i. Dar Al -Kutub Al -Alami): [وكذا تُطلب المصافحة؛ فهي سنة عقب الصلاة كلها، وعند كل لُقِيٍّ] Ah.
He added: The scholar Al -Sharnbali Al -Hanafi said in “his entourage on the pearls of the rulers, an explanation of the rulings of the rulings” (1/142, i. The Arab Books Revival House): [والتهنئة بتقبل الله منا ومنكم لا تنكر كما في “البحر”، وكذا المصافحة، بل هي سنة عقب الصلوات كلها، وعند كل لقي، ولنا فيها رسالة سميتها: “سعادة أهل الإسلام بالمصافحة عقب الصلاة والسلام”] Ah.
