The Bahraini person is considered the true pillar of his country and the bright face of civilization. This was confirmed by the leader of the development process, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, during the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils. With these lofty words, His Majesty expressed his pride in the Bahraini human being and the high national and humanitarian value he represents.
His Majesty the King stressed that investing in the capabilities and skills of Bahrainis, especially youth, forms the basis for continued development and progress, and that empowering rising generations ensures national leadership capable of facing future challenges and preserving national gains.
Investing in the human element is considered the first pillar for achieving sustainable development, through implementing the national plans and strategies pursued by the state. His Majesty was keen on the participation of his people in shaping a prosperous and stable future, emphasizing raising the standard of living, diversifying sources of income, and expanding the base of economic activities, in accordance with the principles and values of the National Action Charter.
His Majesty also attached great importance to consolidating national identity and instilling the values of belonging, in a way that strengthens the unity of society and ensures the continuation of the national renaissance and prosperity. National stability is based on strengthening national unity between the leadership and the people, and preserving Bahraini identity in all its dimensions and components. This process begins with the conscious family, which preserves the authentic national heritage while adding the spirit of renewal and innovation, so that the national identity forms a comprehensive framework that unites the various segments of society into a cohesive national entity based on belonging, loyalty, and joint work for a brighter future.
The visions of His Majesty the King on qualifying young cadres to lead the future embodied a high model for the continuity of the national development process, through optimal investment in the energies of youth through constant support and encouragement of them to contribute effectively to the advancement and renaissance of the nation. This is achieved by promoting scientific and cognitive development and encouraging innovation in various fields, as youth constitute the backbone of the country’s future, and investing in their capabilities and creativity directly reflects on the country’s stability, prosperity, and sustainable development.
His Majesty stressed the importance of national security, as it is the basic foundation for the stability of the state and the continuity of its renaissance, protecting society from any internal or external threats, and ensuring a safe environment that allows the implementation of policies and strategic plans efficiently and effectively.
His Majesty also pointed to the vital role of the legislative authority in formulating legislation and policies that promote sustainable development, support community participation, and protect national identity, praising the good coordination between the three authorities and their role in the effectiveness of policies and achieving the interests of the nation and citizens.
