Investcorp Capital PLC (the “Company” or “Investcorp Capital”), the company founded by the Investcorp Group and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange under the symbol “ICAP”, announced its support for the “Investcorp Golden Horizon” platform (the “Platform”) managed by Investcorp, which has completed its final financing round of $750 million. Supported by China Investment Corporation CIC.

The platform mainly focuses on investment operations in the GCC region through Investcorp Saudi Arabia Pre-IPO Growth Fund (SPIPO).

The platform has secured additional commitments from a group of institutional investors and limited partners, including the Ultra Fund of Funds Company (a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund), the Silk Road Fund, the Bank of China and other leading institutions in the Gulf region, Asia and China.

Investcorp’s Golden Horizon platform targets investing in companies with high growth potential in attractive sectors, including consumer, healthcare, transportation, logistics and business services, across the Gulf region and China.

The platform focuses on well-established companies that are expanding and have a level of operational maturity that qualifies them for an IPO or strategic exit through commercial sale deals lasting between three and five years. By strengthening joint cooperation frameworks, Investcorp and the China Investment Corporation seek to enable companies within their investment portfolio to seize new growth opportunities and expand their cross-border activities between the countries of the Gulf region and China.

Mohammed Al Ardhi, Chairman of Investcorp Capital, said: “Completing the financing of the Golden Horizon platform is a milestone and a milestone in our partnership with the China Investment Corporation and other leading international investment institutions.

Investcorp Capital’s support for the platform reflects a long-term strategy and confidence in Investcorp’s ability to identify and support companies with high growth potential. “With more than four decades of experience in the Gulf region and a growing presence in Asia, Investcorp has the potential to facilitate capital flows across countries and markets and create value for our investors.”

For her part, Sanaa Khater, CEO of Investcorp Capital, said: “We are pleased to witness the successful final closing of the financing of the “Investcorp Golden Horizon” platform, which has achieved $750 million, and we are proud of the support we have provided since the launch of the platform. Our firm commitment reflects our confidence in the position of the platform and its ability to provide attractive growth opportunities across high-potential sectors.

Investcorp Capital will continue to focus on providing long-term value to our shareholders, and our investment in the Golden Horizon platform confirms our ability to provide access to Investcorp’s promising strategies.”

Investcorp Capital’s strategy is focused on providing attractive opportunities for investors that enable them to benefit from a diverse and rewarding range of private assets, and its support for the “Golden Horizon” platform confirms its commitment to this investment approach.

Through this investment in the platform, Investcorp Capital enables its shareholders to benefit from Investcorp’s broad investment capabilities and long-term strategic initiatives.

It is noteworthy that the Investcorp Saudi Arabia Pre-IPO Growth Fund, which is part of the platform, has announced three investments in the Gulf region, and the fund continues its endeavors to explore more opportunities in both the region and China.

These investments include “Noor Net” (one of the largest ICT service providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), “Tracker” (an electronic platform for trucking services throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates), and “Salla” (a leading software-as-a-service platform for enabling e-commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
