Inspector General: World Championships establishes Bahrain’s position as a direction for sporting events

The Inspector General, Major General Abdullah Al -Zayed, confirmed that the Ministry of Interior, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, is keen to organize international sports championships that contribute to consolidating the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a distinguished destination for international sports events.

This came during his attendance at the conclusion of the Ministry of Interior Open Championship for the most powerful man, which was organized by the Sports Federation for Public Security for two days, with the participation of 53 players and players from 17 countries, at the Art Hotel in Amwaj Islands.

The Inspector General praised the continuous follow -up of the head of public security, Lieutenant -General Tariq Al -Hassan, for all sports activities organized by the Sports Federation for Public Security.

He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the members of the organizing committee for the good organization and preparation, and the efforts that contributed to highlighting the championship in an honorable manner, praising the technical level and the sporting spirit that the participants conducted.

For his part, the President of the Sports Federation for General Security, Brigadier Khaled Al -Khayyat, explained that the Federation has completed all the technical preparations for the success of the tournament, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East, indicating that all capabilities and resources were harnessed and equipped equipment according to the highest international standards, to ensure an integrated sporting experience for the participants and the public.

At the end of the tournament, the Inspector General honored the Special Security Force team for winning the cord tightening game in the water. As for the classification of the groups, Emma Grunil from the United Kingdom ranked first, Nadine Karam Winken from the Netherlands, second place, and Maria Al -Qasim from Saudi Arabia ranked third in the open weight category for women.

In the open weight category for men, Bolkarb den won first place, Emad Al -Qaffas from Bahrain, second place, and Kenya’s Christopher from Kenya third.

In the weight category under 110 kg, the first place was ranked Miroshenik Leonte from Russia and the second place Matthew Williams from Wales and the third place Abdullah Al -Massami from Bahrain, and in the men’s weight category under 85 kg, Kulin Kelly ran “Basil Strong Man” 2026 in the United States of America, wishing everyone success and success.
