In the presence of creativity, where national memory intersects with the pulse of art and literature, initiatives emerge that not only honor the past, but also shape the cultural future of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Based on the deep belief that culture is the soul of the nation, and that its symbols are the narrators of the authentic Bahraini story, I put before you a proposal that seeks to immortalize their impact and document their contribution, through a national project that combines a memorial and a digital wallet, in a living embodiment of the nation’s loyalty to its creators, and its keenness to keep art and literature at the forefront of the cultural scene.

Through this proposal, I seek to consolidate the presence of art and literature in the conscience of the nation, and to immortalize the symbols of Bahraini culture who contributed to building national awareness and shaping the creative scene in the Kingdom.

I propose a dual project that combines the establishment of a memorial that commemorates symbols of art and literature, and the establishment of an electronic national portfolio that preserves and displays literary and artistic productions through a modern digital platform.

I believe that Bahraini cultural giving deserves to be documented, and that its symbols should be celebrated in a manner befitting their status.

Therefore, I propose that the memorial be in the form of a map of Bahrain, in which images or symbols of artists and writers are distributed according to their areas of origin or residence, to reflect the cultural diversity and creative richness in the various governorates of the Kingdom.

Added to this is the idea of providing each symbol in the monument with a quick response code (QR Code) that enables visitors to access the literary and artistic biography of the honored personality, through a reliable digital database containing an archive of his most prominent works and contributions.

I propose that this monument be placed at the land and air entrances to Bahrain, to serve as a cultural welcome message that introduces visitors and tourists to the Kingdom’s leadership in the fields of art and literature.

As for the second initiative, I propose to create a national electronic portfolio that collects Bahraini literary and artistic works in an integrated digital library, which contributes to preserving the creative heritage and making it available to future generations.

Through it, I aim to support artists and writers by documenting their intellectual rights and highlighting their productions at the local and international levels.

I aspire that this initiative will contribute to strengthening Bahraini cultural identity and consolidating art and literature as an integral part of the national and cultural scene.

It is a call to be proud of heritage, and to believe that culture is the mirror of the nation and its living spirit.

I emphasize that cultural initiatives are not just development projects, but rather are living manifestations of the spirit of the nation, and a mirror that reflects the depth of our belonging and identity.

Immortalizing the symbols of art and literature, and preserving their products in a renewed digital memory, is a well-deserved tribute to those who created our cultural features, and it is also an investment in the future, as the flame of creativity is passed from one generation to another, and Bahrain remains a beacon of art, a home for literature, and a patron of everything that sublimates the conscience.
