The Ministry of Interior agencies revealed the truth about a comment supported by pictures that was circulated on one of the personal accounts on social networking sites, which included the claim of the person behind the publication that a person had attempted to kidnap a girl and assaulted her by beating her in the October area in Giza.
The truth about kidnapping a girl
The Interior Ministry said in a statement about the incident that, upon examination, it was found that there were no reports in this regard, and it was possible to identify and arrest the person shown in the photos, a resident of the Third October Police Department, and his lady is a student.
The statement continued that when he confronted him, he admitted that he had assaulted his girlfriend with the intention of disciplining her for leaving the house without his knowledge, and upon questioning the latter, she confirmed the above.
It was also possible to identify and arrest the person responsible for the publication, a worker residing in the department’s department. When he confronted him, he reported filming the incident because he believed that she had been kidnapped and published it on his page on social networking sites to increase views and achieve financial profits, and legal measures were taken.
