The Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, decided to assign Dr. Mustafa Muhammad Abdel-Ghani, professor at the Faculty of Dentistry for Girls in Cairo, to manage the work of the Vice President of Al-Azhar University for the girls’ branch until the completion of the legal procedures to fill the position.
In his first comment, Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry for Girls in Cairo, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for the Girls Branch, thanked the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, after the decision was issued.
He said during his speech to Cairo 24: I extend my thanks to the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, for his generous trust in me, and the Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, for his continuous support for the entire Al-Azhar University, and also Dr. Salama Dawoud, President of the University, for choosing and trusting me, and for his efforts and attempts to advance Al-Azhar University.
Earlier, The General Administration of Holy Qur’an Affairs in the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector extended its sincere congratulations and best wishes to all outstanding students in the “Annual Al-Azhar Competition for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an” for the past year 2024 AD, who were honored with the incentive of “Qur’anic Excellence” and an exemption from expenses. This honor comes in implementation of the directives of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, who gives the memorizers of the Holy Qur’an the utmost attention. And care, under the supervision of His Eminence Professor Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, and direct follow-up from His Eminence Sheikh Ayman Abd al-Ghani, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, with the aim of supporting those who excel in memorizing the Book of God.
