Bahraini champion Hussein Siwar excelled in the 72 kg powerlifting competition, winning first place and a gold medal in the Beach Games for the Disabled, held in Mersin, Turkey, from October 18 to 25, 2025.
Siwar achieved the best lift of 102 kg, confirming his position as one of the most prominent champions of the game, and continuing the honorable march of successes of Bahraini Paralympic sports in international forums.
This achievement reflects the outstanding level of preparation of determined Bahraini athletes, and the great support that determined sports receive from the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, which contributes to consolidating Bahrain’s presence on the global sports scene.
