Today, Wednesday, Hurghada International Airport receives intense air traffic, with 101 international flights scheduled to arrive carrying about 18,000 tourists of various nationalities, in a clear indication of the continued recovery of tourism in Hurghada as the winter tourist season approaches.
Facilities for receiving tourist delegations
The competent authorities and airport authorities are working to facilitate all arrival procedures, ensuring the smooth flow of movement within the travel and arrival halls, amid full commitment to implementing security and precautionary measures, in preparation for transporting delegations to hotels and tourist resorts spread on the coast of the Red Sea.
For his part, Essam Ali, tourism expert and Vice President of the Red Sea Chamber of Tourist Establishments, said that the current period is witnessing a noticeable increase in hotel occupancy rates, thanks to the increasing demand from European and Arab tourists to the city of Hurghada.
Ali explained in statements to Cairo 24 that there is a great diversity of nationalities coming to Hurghada, with expectations of a promising winter tourist season, as a result of the intense efforts made by the state and the tourism sector in promoting Egyptian destinations globally.
