In an incident that caused great shock in Egyptian society, horrific details emerged about the murder of a student at the hands of his classmate in the city of Ismailia, where investigations revealed murderous confessions from the accused young man, who brutally dismembered the victim’s body, using various tools to hide the traces of the crime. As investigations continued, data emerged indicating thoughtful planning for this heinous crime.
The events began with a verbal altercation between the two students inside the accused’s house in the New Station area, where things quickly developed into a violent assault, in which the accused used a “hammer” and a large knife, which resulted in the victim falling unconscious. As his condition deteriorated, he breathed his last due to his injuries, and here the steps to cover up the crime began.
Not long after the crime occurred, the accused decided to dismember the victim’s body to hide the features of the horrific event. He used an electric missile belonging to his father, the carpenter, in addition to a large knife to separate the bones, and divided the body into six parts. He carefully placed the parts inside black plastic bags, so as not to leave any traces of the horrific crime.
The accused kept part of the body inside his house for mysterious reasons, before heading on foot to the Carrefour area, carrying the dismembered parts in his school bag. There, he disposed of body parts on agricultural land behind Carrefour, while throwing another part into Fishermen’s Lake, which indicates prior planning to carry out his crime.
The accused’s father was able to discover traces of blood and body parts inside the house, which prompted him to leave the house, leaving his son alone, while the security services completed their investigations to uncover all the circumstances. After the defendant’s confessions, medical reports showed that the crime was committed with full consciousness, without psychological disturbances, which gave additional evidence of the planning of the crime.
During the investigations, the accused admitted to imitating violent scenes from foreign films and series, and revealed that he had purchased black gloves and bags before committing the crime as part of advance preparation, which led to great shock in the street. When he confessed that he had cooked and eaten the piece he had kept from the body, the horror inherent in his act was confirmed.
The Public Prosecution continues its investigations into the case, trying to uncover all aspects and motives behind this crime, as the accused was referred for psychological and forensic examination to verify his mental health during the commission of the crime. While the victim’s family lives hours of deep sadness and grief, as everyone waits for justice to turn against the accused, demanding just retribution for the killing of a child who was not yet innocent.
