Hisham Nasr, Vice President of Zamalek Club, is close to heading the football team’s delegation in the Egyptian Super Cup, which will be held next month in the presence of Zamalek, Al-Ahly, Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra clubs, in the period from 6 to 9 next November.

Cairo 24 learned from its sources that the council settled on the presence of the club’s vice president, Hisham Nasr, for more than one reason, the most important of which is that he is charged with supervising the football team alongside Hussein Labib, along with John Edward, the sports director.
The source added that there was a session today in the club, and it was agreed that Hisham Nasr would assume the presidency of the Zamalek delegation in the Egyptian Super Cup, which starts next month in the cities of Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.
Zamalek lost the last Egyptian Super Cup to Al-Ahly, after reaching the final at the expense of Pyramids after beating them on penalties, before losing in the final to Al-Ahly on penalty kicks.
The Zamalek club’s first football team will face the National Bank and Talaea El Gaish in the league before traveling to the Emirates to fight the Super Cup, where it will meet with Pyramids. In the event of a victory, it will face the winner of Al-Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra in the final, and vice versa in the event of a loss, facing the loser from the other match.
The Zamalek team will resume training next Tuesday, after the players received a 48-hour rest following the victory over Dekedaha of Somalia with a score of 6 goals to nothing.
