Rasha Abdel-Al, Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority, confirmed that the Library of Alexandria represents a global model to be emulated in the field of digital transformation and knowledge management, as this vision is in line with the directions of the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Authority towards building a modern digital authority that relies on science, innovation and technology in managing tax work, and this highlights the importance of the library’s role as a pioneering institution in this field.

Rasha Abdel-Al added, during her visit to the Library of Alexandria at the invitation of Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Library Director, that this visit comes within the framework of the Tax Authority’s keenness to communicate with leading national institutions, which represent beacons of thought, science and culture, noting that the Library of Alexandria is not just a library, but rather one of the most important global cultural edifices, contributing to building national awareness and supporting the country’s efforts in sustainable development.
