The Criminal Investigation Department of the Kafr El-Sheikh Security Directorate, in coordination with the Public Security Sector, directed a major security strike against the promoters and manufacturers of the drug hashish, after monitoring a place prepared for the manufacture and promotion of the drug hashish in the Kafr El-Sheikh Center District.

Major General Ihab Attia, Assistant Minister of the Interior for Kafr El-Sheikh Security, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Fawzi, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Kafr El-Sheikh Security Directorate, about the receipt of information to criminal investigation officers that a worker, residing in one of the villages in the Kafr El-Sheikh Center, manufactured the drug hashish and promoted it in the center’s district.
Major General Mohamed Fawzi Ali, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Kafr El-Sheikh Security Directorate, directed Al-Fur to verify the accuracy of the information and codify the legal procedures to seize the accused and the tools used in manufacturing hashish, so that a mission would be prepared to do so after the procedures were codified.
With the preparation of tight security ambushes, which were supervised by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kafr El-Sheikh Security Directorate, the accused, named “I.S.M.A.M,” 34 years old, a worker and resident of the village of Al-Hamra, was arrested. He had previously been accused of felony No. 562, felonies at the Kafr El-Sheikh Center, for trafficking in narcotic substances.
When the accused was searched and the place he used to manufacture the drug hashish, he was found in possession of a firearm, a “tabanga”, firearms of the same caliber as the weapon, a metal press for manufacturing hashish, a sensitive scale, 85 hashish drums, an amount of hashish paste weighing 30 kilograms, a sum of money, and a mobile phone.
The security services in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate wrote a report on the incident, and the accused was presented to the investigating authorities, who ordered the accused to be detained for 4 days pending investigation.
