The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included a person throwing stones at a car and causing damage to it in Fayoum.

Upon examination, it was revealed that on the 16th of this month, a person residing in the police station in Fayoum was informed of the fact that another person suffering from a mental illness residing in the same district had assaulted him and his son by insulting, beating, throwing stones at his car and causing damage to it. He had previously set fire to his residence in 2024, but he did not file a report due to his health conditions.
Legal measures were taken and the aforementioned person was admitted, with the knowledge of his eligibility, to one of the psychological treatment centers in Fayoum to receive the necessary treatment.
In a separate context, the security services at the Ministry of the Interior were able to uncover the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included one person insulting another and pushing a police officer who happened to be passing by the scene of the incident to try to break up the quarrel in Minya.
Through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident, the owner of an unlicensed bakery, who has criminal information, and resides in the Minya Police Department.
It turned out that on the 20th of this month, a verbal altercation occurred between him and a taxi driver due to disagreements between them over the purchase. During this, a police officer happened to pass by, and when he intervened to resolve the argument between them, the owner of the aforementioned bakery pushed him in objection to his intervention. When confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as referred to, and legal measures were taken.
