
England national team coach Thomas Tuchel revealed the official formation of the Three Lions to face Latvia this evening, Tuesday, at Daugava Stadium, in the sixth round of European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The England match against Latvia will be played at a quarter to ten this evening, Manama and Mecca time, corresponding to a quarter to eleven in Abu Dhabi time.
England’s lineup against Latvia is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford.
Defense line: Djed Spence, John Stones, Ezri Konsa, Miles Lewis Skelly
Midfield: Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Rogers
Attacking line: Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Anthony Gordon
The England national team will play today’s match against Latvia, searching for three points in order to reach the 2026 World Cup finals in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada.
The Three Lions team sits at the top of Group Eleven in the European qualifiers for the World Cup, and has 15 points, collected from 5 victories with full marks, while the Latvian team occupies fourth place with 5 points.
In the first leg, the England national team beat Latvia 3-0 last March, and is seeking to repeat the result tonight to confirm its superiority and continue to lead Group Eleven.
The English team has a unique record, superior to all European teams in the qualifying round, as it is the only team that has not conceded any goal so far in the qualifiers, which enhances its chances of achieving an easy win against Latvia, which has not previously qualified for the World Cup.
