The government expressed its approval of a Shura draft law prohibiting the establishment of nurseries without a license.
The proposed draft law, in addition to its preamble, consists of four articles, where the first paragraph of Article (63) of the Children’s Law was replaced, to define the violations that require punishment in a more precise manner, while explicitly stipulating the criminalization of establishing nurseries without a license, or managing them, or modifying their location or specifications without the approval of the Ministry of Education, in a way that enhances the effectiveness of regulatory oversight of these nurseries.
