The Syrian artist, Al-Shami, vowed to legally prosecute anyone who insults him or his concerts, stressing that he will not remain silent about any attempt to distort his reputation or harm his fans.
A source close to Al-Shami revealed to Cairo 24 that the Al-Shami artist decided to take legal steps against some people who spread malicious rumors on social media sites, related to the nature of the concerts he holds in Europe, especially those held annually in Germany.

The source added that some pages circulated allegations that girls go to Al-Shami’s concerts in order to meet their loved ones, which Al-Shami considered a direct insult to him and his fans, stressing that his concerts are held in a respectable artistic atmosphere and enjoy wide audience demand from various groups.
The source confirmed that Al-Shami reserves his legal right to sue any person or entity that promotes such lies, stressing that he will take all necessary legal measures to preserve his reputation and artistic standing that he has built over the years.

The Syrian star Al-Shami previously spoke about his participation as a jury member in the famous talent discovery program The Voice Kids, in addition to talking about the Egyptian public’s welcome towards him and the sold-out tickets for his concert at the Marassi Festival “Marassi Nights”, which is sponsored by Marassi Red Sea.
Al-Shami said, in his interview with Cairo 24, about his participation as a jury member in The Voice Kids program: A large part of it is happiness because I love children and I love emerging talent, and part of it is responsibility for music, and I am ready at all levels to present something worthy of the name of this program and those who sat in the chairs in the program.
