Investigating authorities in Qena announced this Thursday morning that the bodies of 4 workers who were killed by electrocution during their work were buried inside a farm in the village of Al-Marashda in the Waqf Center in Qena Governorate, and that the bodies were delivered to their families in preparation for burial in their family graves in the village of Al-Rizeiqat, affiliated with the Armant Center in Luxor Governorate.
Permitting the burial of victims of electric shock
The beginning was when the security services in the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the operations room that a report had been received about the death of 4 workers who had been electrocuted while working inside a farm in the village of Al-Marashda in Al-Waqf Center. Immediately, police cars and ambulances moved to the site of the accident and the bodies were transferred to the hospital at the disposal of the competent authorities.
The accident resulted in the deaths of Mustafa Youssef Mohamed, 44 years old, Ahmed Abdel Moneim Youssef, 24 years old, Youssef Mohamed Youssef, 20 years old, and Mohamed Abdel Farag Abdel Sattar, 17 years old, all of them residing in the Arment Center in Luxor Governorate.
The bodies were transferred to the morgue of the Central Waqf Hospital, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to undertake investigations, which assigned the Criminal Investigation Department to intensify efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
