In an atmosphere of joy and brotherhood between cultures, the Female Student City in the Islamic missionary cities organized a special celebration entitled From Every Country a Food, during which the female expatriate students presented various dishes from the most famous traditional foods that represent the cultures of their countries, in a painting that expresses the diversity and unity that brings together the people of the world under the umbrella of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

The ceremony was attended by the head of the Islamic Mission Cities Sector, and Mr. Dr. Elham Shaheen, Assistant Secretary-General for Women Preachers Affairs at the Islamic Research Academy, Vice President of the Sector for Female Students’ City Affairs, Head of the Central Administration for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Director of the Female Students’ City, Director of Youth Welfare, and Director of the Office of the Head of the Sector, who praised the high level of organization and the innovations presented by the female students that reflected the spirit of cooperation and acquaintance between different cultures within the city.
At the conclusion of the celebration, thanks were extended to all participating students in appreciation of their efforts in making the event a success, which embodied Al-Azhar’s message of promoting dialogue and rapprochement between peoples.
