The local unit of the Desouk Center in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate announced that it had received a signal from the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in the Desouk area, to carry out the process of washing, disinfecting and sterilizing the pipes, the ground tank and all stages of the filters at the main drinking water station in the village of Mahalla Abu Ali.

The statement of the local unit of the center and city of Desouk added that the drinking water company confirmed that it had cut off drinking water and confirmed in its indication that next Monday from six in the morning until five in the evening, in order to carry out the targeted works in the Abu Ali locality water station.
The local unit of the Desouk Center confirmed that the targeted works from the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in the Desouk area confirmed that the targeted works will cause the water supply to be limited to the city of Disuq, the villages of the Desouk Center, and the Shaba and Al-Ajouzin Village Council, as well as its interruption in the outskirts, as the station will operate at half its production capacity.
The local unit of the center and city of Desouk indicated that it is appealing to the local units in the areas targeted for maintenance work, as well as within the city, to manage their drinking water needs during the period of drinking water interruption and until the pumping of drinking water resumes again after the completion of the targeted works.
